Sam's Club - Creating a Better Customer Experience

Catalyst for change - Shoppers were struggling to find what they needed and there was a perception about club food that it wasn't as fresh as grocery store food.

Solution - Make clear, bold, unified signage to give shoppers an easier way to shop the store. Use graphics in the meat area to educate shoppers on the quality meats they source. We also launched a prepared food area to test in club stores, from sushi to ready-to eat meals This was placed in the main race-track for full exposure to all shoppers and we use special signage to launch this area. Lastly, the cafe area at the front of the store needed updating and a designated space. By updating it, making bold color choices and giving better seating, Sam's becomes more of a place to not only shop but also linger.
